I received a full fellowship for my M.A. research at Ben Gurion University, Jacob Blaustein Institute of Desert Research from the Ministry of Science and Technology in order to analyze the economic engagement of Bedouin women. This fellowship provided room, board, tuition, interpreter, research assistant, and travel expenses.
Receiving a 4-Yr fully funded fellowship, I was able to study at the University of British Columbia-Vancouver in my doctoral studies with Kānaka Maoli women leaders on Kauaʻi.

I wrote numerous articles for publication, including interviews with Dr. Sandra Steinberger, author of Living Downstream; and also Ted Danson, for his work in saving the reefs.
When covering Muhamad Yunusʻ award at the United Nations in New York City, I connected with the editor of a small paper who asked me to feature the micro-credit financing projects that Grameen Bank was piloting with street vendors in Harlem.
In 2018 in Vancouver, I presented my collaborative doctoral research amplifying the voices of Kānaka Maoli women leaders from the island of Kauaʻi on issues of land tenure, food sovereignty, and the next generation.
