- Founding a program for Hawaiian Home Lands students who dropped out of high school, overseeing staff & daily operations
- Top sales person of 20+ for company in 1st job out of college
- Fund-raising and hosting Hawaiian and local students, and especially at-risk youth, on trips to the Continent, Europe, and the Middle East
- Evacuating women leaders out of Afghanistan, to resettlement in Canada; raising funds to cover their 1st year
- Founding a grassroots food systems org in Santa Barbara, hosting UK experts on UC campuses; convincing Trader Joe's to remove GMOs from label; speaking publicly/on radio; publishing in national magazines on topic
- Advocating for sex trafficking victims in the Middle East, liaising 2 groups who pushed through critical legislation in the Knesset
- Conducted 2-year research project supporting the economic activity of Bedouin women in the Negev, the results informing government agencies how to best support this demographic
- Writing 7 grants for Native Hawaiian nonprofit to support cultural youth agricultural projects;
- Working as an Environmental Educator for California's Outdoor School system
- Designing a naturalist program for a whitewater rafting company
- Collaborated with Kānaka Maoli women leaders in 7-year research project on land, health, and the next generation on Kaua'i
